A decision model reads a state, such as a support ticket or a JSON record, and answers named questions in one synchronous request. Each answer is structured data, not generated text, so your code can act on it directly.
Selection signals
- Pick a question type for each decision: noul returns a yes/no probability, choice picks one of up to 255 options, and score places the state on an ordered scale of 2 to 10 levels.
- Write criteria for each option or level. A choice answer is always one of your options, and a score stays within your scale.
- Estimate cost from the input and output tokens measured on representative states. The endpoint does not stream and is not available in Batch.
